Volunteer Lens: Capturing the Stories of Newcomer Inclusion Through Photography. Moved by my newcomer experience, I volunteered to capture these images as part of a photography project to share the stories of newcomer inclusion in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This ongoing project, developed in partnership with The Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto (MNLCT) since 2016, has been a meaningful collaboration. In recognition of this work, I was honoured to receive the MNLCT's Community Impact Award in 2017. Stay tuned for our upcoming project as we continue to shed light on the experiences of newcomers in our community.
