Photographs of emblematic places of the Margarita Island, the capital of the Nueva Esparta State in Venezuela. The island is located in the Caribbean Sea, about 40 km north of the continent. It was a popular vacation destination that includes 2 peninsulas connected by the sand and mangroves of the Laguna de La Restinga national park. Most of the people live in Pampatar, Porlamar and La Asunción.
